What is happening at Wangala?
GELC Swimming Program
In our GELC Swimming program, students attended the pool for a week had a great time learning water safety skills.
Open Water Learning
The students participated in the Open Water Learning program with Surf Lifesaving Victoria. They learned about being safe at the beach and learned some exciting new skills using boards and doing rescues.
Reading
We read the story of ‘The Three Little Pigs.’ We acted out the story with our masks and rewrote the story in our own words.
Netball
We participated in a Netball excursion at Wangala. We learnt ho to throw, catch, pass, defend and say, “Here if you need!”
Guided Reading and Writing
We are reading a book about dogs in our Guided Reading group. We have learnt many facts about dogs and can read many sight words.
